Facebook Campaign to Feature Sensory Processing Disorder on Oprah

Facebook - Campaign To Feature Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) on Oprah_1287755933637

There is a movement underway on Facebook to get the attention of The Oprah Show. Started by two non-profit organizations, Sensory Processing Disorder Foundation and SPD Parent Zone, the Facebook page hopes to get Oprah to lend visibility to a cause that affects some 3.5 million children in the United States.

The groups have even done a lot of the groundwork for Oprah’s producers by lining up an incredible panel to share their expertise and stories with viewers.

I’m so happy to launch Shop Sensory with one of my best friends, Laurin Evans.  She has been an incredible resource and support system to me as I’ve learned the ropes through Occupational Therapy and dozens of doctor’s appointments for my preschooler.
