Working with Brands
If we establish a relationship with any brand, website or product featured on Shop Sensory, we’ll make it plain and clear in the post.
Fun with Affiliates
In some features, we’ll point you to stores like Amazon.com where you can pick up the product. If it’s an affiliate link, meaning we’ll get a very small percentage of the sale if you choose to buy, we’ll let you know. Look for verbiage like, “our affiliate, Amazon.com.” While we certainly appreciate affiliate moolah, we also encourage readers to shop locally and seek the best deals wherever they can find them online.
We are not Doctors
We’re not medical professionals. It’s fun to look for research and great educational materials online, but you should consult your doctor if you’re not sure about introducing a new therapy, supplement, etc. Don’t be afraid to say that you found something online. Most doctors and therapists appreciate a pro-active parent.
The information contained in our blog is provided as a public service. It should be used for informational and educational purposes only, and should not be taken as personal medical advice. Each person’s health needs are different and you should definitely talk to a doctor or therapist before acting on any information we provide. We work hard to make sure all information is correct and up-to-date, but it is provided for the convenience of the reader and should not be considered definitive.
Ads are Ads
You may see ads from brands and sponsors in the sidebars of this website. Any paid text ads will be labeled as such.
